Hi! I'm Beiqing (Mavis) Li, same name as the character in Hotel Transylvania. I'm a senior from Trinity Preparatory School in Florida.

I’m passionate about art, painting, sculpture, music, and antique objects–I’m fascinated by anything connected to beauty. I moved to the U.S. from Shanghai in 8th grade, so a lot of my work reflects a mix of both Chinese and American cultures.

My favorite colors are green and teal, and I also really enjoy makeup—not just wearing it, but studying it. I love exploring the differences in texture, color, and how makeup changes the way my facial features look. It actually helps a lot with my portrait painting, since most of my artwork focuses on realistic faces. I love thinking creatively and exploring new ideas, which is why I hope to become a product designer or game designer in the future. This website is a place where I’ve collected some of the projects and creative things I’ve worked on throughout high school.
